When I designed the Goldhawk frameset, I consulted with Reynolds about the right tubing for the desired ride characteristics. Envisaging hard accelerations and braking, I needed something both lightweight and stiff. The advice was spot on! I suppose that’s to be expected from the worlds best steel tube makers……
